Handzame Classic

I can't write a lot about the Handzame Classics. My participation in this race was saddly only about 110 kilometers. From the start on I didn't feel to good and after the two small laps at the well known Kemmelberg I felt even worse. Brambo, our leader decided to pull from the front because otherwise the group of 20 riders wont be caught again.
I pulled only one time from the front and was then found at the very back of the peloton for the next 20 kilometers. It was only a matter of minutes when my time was over...
At the feedzone I was completely powerless and decided to quit the race. Good or bad decision? I don't know but regarding the fact, that I woke up the next night having very bad stomach problems and fever the whole following day, it might not have been helpful to finish the race...
But now I'm good again and I'll start serious training again tomorrow.
